Terms of Service
Last updated 30 October 2026
Draft for the FloatyCal private beta. These terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before FloatyCal is offered to the public.
These terms apply when you use FloatyCal, a calendar and assistant app. By signing in, you agree to them.
The private beta
FloatyCal is in a private beta. Features may change, may not always work, and may be removed. Please keep your own copies of anything important; your calendars and email stay in your own Google, Microsoft or iCloud accounts.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use FloatyCal.
The assistant
The assistant can make mistakes. It shows you anything that affects other people, such as emails or meeting changes, before it happens, and acts only when you approve. Please check what you approve.
Acceptable use
Don't use FloatyCal to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, or try to access other people's data or interfere with the service.
Your content
You own your content. You give us permission to process it only to run FloatyCal for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Fees
The private beta is free. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price in advance, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Ending your use
You can stop using FloatyCal and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
No warranty and limits on liability
During the beta, FloatyCal is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed meetings or lost business.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are important, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
